Learning Beyond the Classroom

Take your students on an unforgettable educational journey to Ghana's Central Region, where classroom lessons come to life through history, culture, environmental education, wildlife, and experiential learning.

This professionally coordinated excursion is designed for Basic Schools, Junior High Schools, Senior High Schools, tertiary institutions, educational clubs, and youth organizations seeking a safe and meaningful educational experience outside the classroom.

The excursion begins early in the morning with student registration, attendance, safety instructions, and an introduction to the tour team. Students then travel together by comfortable, air-conditioned transportation to the Central Region.

The first educational stop is Cape Coast Castle, where students explore one of Ghana's most significant historical sites. Through a guided educational session, they learn about Ghana's colonial history, the Trans-Atlantic Slave Trade, the experiences of enslaved Africans, and the importance of heritage preservation and national identity.

The journey continues to Kakum National Park, where students enter one of Ghana's important rainforest environments. A guided experience introduces them to biodiversity, ecosystems, wildlife, environmental conservation, and the importance of protecting Ghana's natural resources.

Students then experience the famous Kakum Canopy Walkway, providing an exciting opportunity to observe the forest environment from above while connecting their classroom lessons in science, geography, and environmental studies with a real-world setting.

After lunch, the excursion continues to Hans Cottage Botel, where students observe crocodiles and learn about wildlife and wetland ecosystems. A canoe experience may also be arranged where available and with the appropriate school approval.

Before returning to school, students participate in a group reflection and educational quiz. This provides an opportunity to review what they have learned, encourage teamwork, and test their understanding of the day's experiences.

The group then begins the return journey, with students arriving at the agreed school or drop-off location where the designated school authorities and parents/guardians can receive them according to the school's arrangements.

This excursion is more than a school trip—it is an opportunity for students to see, experience, question, discuss, and understand Ghana beyond the classroom.
