Learn about the traditional account of Komfo Anokye, the renowned high priest and spiritual figure associated with the founding of the Ashanti Kingdom. Hear the story of how the Golden Stool is believed to have descended from the sky and became a sacred symbol of the Ashanti nation.

You will also learn about the role of the Golden Stool in traditional ceremonies and festivals, including royal and ancestral observances.

Starting Point: Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital

Guests should arrive at the agreed meeting point at least 15 minutes before the scheduled start time.

If hotel or residence pickup has been arranged, your guide/driver will meet you at the agreed location.
