6-Day Lake Constance & Bavarian Castles Itinerary

📅 Confirmed Travel Dates

· Departure from Accra: Wednesday, 6th May 2026
· Return to Accra: Wednesday, 13th May 2026

Please ensure your passport is valid for at least six months beyond the return date (valid until at least 13th November 2026).

💰 Structured Payment Plan

To secure your booking and facilitate a smooth visa application process, please follow this payment schedule:

1. Confirmation Deposit: GHS 5,000
· Purpose: To secure your spot on the tour. Spaces are limited and allocated on a first-come, first-served basis upon receipt of this deposit.
· Due Date: As soon as possible to guarantee availability.
2. Visa Processing Fee: GHS 10,000
· Purpose: This fee is required to initiate and secure your Schengen visa application. It covers our consultancy services, documentation preparation, and liaison with the embassy.
· Due Date: After paying the confirmation deposit and before we submit your visa application dossier.
3. Final Balance Payment
· Purpose: Covers the remainder of your tour package cost (flights, accommodation, tours, etc.).
· Due Date: On or before Wednesday, 31st March 2026. Please note: Your visa application cannot be finalized, and your tour place cannot be fully confirmed until this balance is settled.

Payment Methods: Details for bank transfer, mobile money, or other accepted payment methods will be provided upon registration.

Day 1: Arrival & Zeppelin History

· Morning/Afternoon: Arrive at Friedrichshafen Airport (FDH) or by train. Check into your hotel.
· Afternoon: Immerse yourself in the town’s history at the excellent Zeppelin Museum on the lakefront.
· Evening: Take a relaxing stroll along the Bodensee (Lake Constance) promenade. Enjoy a welcome dinner at a restaurant with lake views.
· Accommodation: Friedrichshafen.

Day 2: Island Flowers & Medieval Meersburg

· Morning: Take a boat to the Flower Island of Mainau. Spend a few hours exploring its stunning gardens, butterfly house, and palace.
· Afternoon: Catch the boat to the charming medieval town of Meersburg. Explore the steep, cobbled streets, visit the Old Castle (Altes Schloss), and wander through the vineyards overlooking the lake.
· Evening: Return to Friedrichshafen by boat or a short drive (about 20 minutes).
· Accommodation: Friedrichshafen.

Day 3: Transfer to the Alps & Forggensee Views

· Morning: Check out of your hotel. Take a train or drive (approx. 1.5 hours) east to Füssen. The journey itself is scenic as you approach the Alps.
· Afternoon: Check into your hotel in Füssen. Get oriented with a walk around the historic town center and then head to the Forgensee lake. The short walk offers the famous, breathtaking view of Neuschwanstein Castle from a distance.
· Evening: Enjoy a relaxed dinner in Füssen’s old town.
· Accommodation: Füssen.

Day 4: Fairytale Castles Day

· Full Day: The highlight of the trip. Book tickets online well in advance!
· Take the bus from Hohenschwangau village up to Marienbrücke (Mary’s Bridge) for the iconic castle photo.
· Tour the interior of Neuschwanstein Castle, the famous fairytale castle of King Ludwig II.
· Visit Hohenschwangau Castle, the king’s childhood home.
· Explore the Alpsee lake at the foot of the castles—a beautiful spot for a walk.
· Evening: You’ll be tired from a full day of walking. Have a well-deserved dinner in Füssen or Hohenschwangau.
· Accommodation: Füssen.

Day 5: Alpine Drive & Austrian Village Charm

· Day Trip: Today is for Alpine scenery. Take a short drive (about 30 minutes) into Austria to the beautiful Plansee Lake. The emerald-green water surrounded by mountains is stunning.
· Option: Continue from Plansee to the charming Austrian town of Reutte and visit the impressive ruins of Ehrenberg Castle Fortress (a cluster of fortifications on a hill).
· Alternative (No Car): Take a local bus to the German town of Oberammergau, famous for its Luftlmalerei (painted houses) and woodcarving.
· Evening: Return to Füssen for your final night in the Alps.
· Accommodation: Füssen.

Day 6: Departure

· Morning: Enjoy a final Bavarian breakfast. If time allows, do some last-minute souvenir shopping in Füssen’s old town.
· Afternoon: Depart for your journey home from Memmingen Airport (FMM) or Munich Airport (MUC).
